OX-Spot and the beacon are added in the app and clearly organized by name.
OX-Spot Control automatically activates warning projections when forklifts and automated guided vehicles approach.
No constant lighting. No habituation. Maximum attention precisely at the critical moment.

A warning light that stays on constantly will eventually be overlooked.
A warning is only effective if it stands out. Constant lighting achieves the opposite of drawing attention.

To do this, a compact OX-Beacon is mounted on the forklift or tugger train. It continuously transmits a radio signal that is received by OX-Spot Control. When the vehicle approaches the defined area, OX-Spot Control determines the distance based on the signal strength (RSSI) and automatically activates the warning projection. When the vehicle leaves the zone, the projection turns off after a brief delay.
The result: maximum attention, lower energy consumption, and warnings delivered exactly when they’re needed.

OX-Spot Control adds intelligent activation to existing warning projections. The retrofit requires no modifications to vehicles or existing infrastructure and is ideal for gradually expanding existing OX-Spot installations.

A warning effect that doesn't become numbing.
Flashes when approached instead of a steady light—the marking remains effective.

Up to 92% less energy per spot.
The spotlight only turns on when it's needed.

No electrician or IT expertise required.
Plug it in, attach the beacon, set the radius using the app—ready to go in minutes.

Can be used completely offline.
No Wi-Fi, no cloud requirement, no system integration.

GDPR-compliant from the ground up.
Anonymous, one-time signals with no personal identifiers; no movement profiles.

A safe investment.
Start offline today, connect via the cloud later—without any new hardware.

Easy setup via the OX app

Can be used as a standalone device
...and ready to use right away
OX-Spot and the beacon are connected in the app. You then define the distance at which the warning projection is activated and how long it remains visible after the vehicle leaves the detection zone.
OX-Spot and the beacon are added in the app and clearly organized by name.
The activation radius and switch-off delay are configured to suit the specific application.
In presence mode, OX-Spot detects nearby beacons and activates the projection automatically.
The Result: The warning appears only when a vehicle approaches and switches off again after the configured delay.

While OX-Spot provides a continuously visible projection, OX-Spot Control activates the warning symbol only when someone approaches.
If warnings, notices, or directions need to be permanently visible, OX-Spot is the right solution—without any automatic controls.
Learn more about OX-Spot
OX-Spot is the projector that permanently projects warning and directional signs onto the ground. OX-Spot Control is the add-on (“Digital Control Option”): It supplements the Spot with a wireless switching power supply that turns the projection on and off based on presence detection as soon as a vehicle tagged with an OX-Beacon approaches or moves away.
No. The system communicates exclusively via Bluetooth LE between the Beacon and the Spot and operates entirely offline. Neither Wi-Fi nor a cloud connection is required for operation.
Plug in the Spot, attach the Beacon to the vehicle, and set the radius and tracking duration using the OX app—usually a matter of minutes per location.
The sensor responds to any OX beacon within the set radius.
No. The signal is anonymous and one-way; it is not linked to any specific person or driver. The trigger time, frequency, or which beacon triggered the signal are not stored—there is no technical provision for tracking the movement or performance profiles of individual employees. In offline mode, there is no network, Wi-Fi, or Internet connection, and therefore no processing subject to the GDPR takes place.
No problem: OX-Spot Control runs independently right from the start, but can be connected to the ORGATEX Cloud at any time without requiring new hardware. This provides additional features such as remote maintenance, OTA updates, and a fleet overview.
