Typical everyday challenges
Material carriers disappear between production and storage. Searching for them takes time, causes downtime, and throws entire production lines out of sync. => OX label
Auxiliary materials such as packaging are often not inventoried – replenishment only arrives when it's too late. => OX parking space sensor
Without sensors, many teams rely on manual checks or visual inspections – with a high potential for errors and unnecessary interruptions. => OX Kanban sensor
Vehicles, AGVs, and pedestrians frequently encounter each other at intersections of production and logistics areas. Without automated warning signals, hazards go unnoticed until it's almost too late. => OX-Spot
Finished containers are piling up at the end of an assembly line because the forklift driver wasn't informed. This creates a backup and blocked areas. => OX button
In daily operations, staff must regularly check which lanes are empty and manually trigger replenishment. This wastes valuable working time and increases the risk of signals being overlooked or prioritized incorrectly. => OX station

Problem-solving skills
- Digitization of accompanying and transport processes
Processes are documented paperlessly, transparently and automatically. - Permanent tracking of load carriers and materials
Real-time location data provides an overview and enables targeted decisions. - Targeted material provision
Precise localization ensures that material arrives where it is needed. - Semi-automation of material requirements
Digital signals support replenishment control and relieve manual processes. - Monitoring of Kanban shelves
Fill levels are continuously monitored, and replenishment processes are triggered automatically. - Parking space monitoring
Automated replenishment control through continuous monitoring of storage locations - Automation of supermarket train stations
Automating the control of material flow via railway stations and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) - Increased safety through dynamic alerts
Automated display of information signs and warning messages in hazardous situations.

orgatex cloud
The captured sensor data is transmitted to the ORGATEX Cloud in real time and processed there – for visualization, notifications and automated control of replenishment processes.
Advantages of ORGATEX Cloud
- Live dashboard with occupancy overview
- Historical evaluations and trend analyses
- Automated notifications (e.g., when threshold values are not met)
- Interfaces to ERP, WMS, and automation systems
- Scalable and secure – secured via modern encryption & authentication
- Role-based access concepts and user management

Was ist Thread?
What is Thread?
Thread is a modern, energy-saving mesh network protocol (based on IEEE 802.15.4 / 6LoWPAN) that connects devices in a local network.
How it works
A Thread network consists of so-called nodes and router nodes. Each OX label acts as a node in the mesh. These nodes communicate with each other, forward messages, and connect to the ORGATEX Cloud via router nodes.
This creates a robust, redundant network across the entire area. Even if individual devices fail (e.g., due to malfunction), the network remains intact.
Advantages of Thread
-
Self-healing network : If one node fails, another takes over –
No single point of failure. - Scalable & flexible : New labels can be easily integrated into the network,
without manual network setup. - Low energy consumption : Ideal for battery-powered devices –
The mesh operates locally, without significant active radio transmission.
Was ist NB-IoT?
What is NB-IoT?
NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT) is a cellular LPWAN method specifically designed for IoT applications on licensed frequency (part of 3GPP Release 13/14) with a focus on long range, low power consumption and good building penetration.
Strengths of NB-IoT
Wide coverage & penetration – works well even through concrete, ceilings or into deeper areas.
Low power consumption – devices remain mostly in standby mode and only wake up to send/receive.
Robust connection (licensed wireless) – less prone to interference than unlicensed wireless solutions
