ESD Solutions for Protecting Sensitive Work Areas
If you work with components or assemblies that are susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD), reliable ESD protection is essential. Even very low voltages can damage or completely destroy electronic components—often without any visible warning signs.
ORGATEX® offers special ESD-compatible versions of proven products that do not accumulate electrostatic charge. The use of conductive materials ensures that your products are optimally protected during storage, transport, and production.

What is ESD, and why is protection so important?
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is caused by friction and the subsequent separation of materials. During this process, the human body can become electrostatically charged and discharge this charge uncontrollably.
While a discharge that is perceptible to humans is around 3,000 volts, as little as 30 volts is enough to permanently damage an ESD-sensitive component. Effective ESD protection is therefore essential to prevent failures, quality losses, and costly consequential damage.
ESD Products Made from Permanently Conductive Materials
For our ESD products, we use a specially developed IDP-STAT® rigid PVC film (Inherently Dissipative Polymer). It is available in various thicknesses and ensures the long-term, controlled dissipation of electrostatic charges—without any loss of effectiveness.
The portfolio is complemented by additional ESD-compatible solutions that have been specifically developed for use in sensitive areas.
